A platinum solitaire ring, claw-set with a brilliant-cut diamond of 2.51 carats. Platinum has been favoured for diamond settings since the Edwardian period.
The shoulders are set with single-cut diamonds. Beneath the stone, the gallery is pierced and decorated with hearts.
The mount is stamped for platinum and is in excellent condition. Ring size J. Total weight 4.2 grams.
